OUR STORY
Nestled in the heart of historic New Hartford, Connecticut, Gallery 44 is a second-generation, family-owned fine arts gallery.
Founded in 1965 by George Haller and now led by Michael Haller, the gallery presents an exceptional collection of 19th- and 20th-century works from across the Americas and Europe. Our curated selection includes oil paintings, still lifes, watercolors, mixed media works, works on paper, and charcoal studies. Many pieces—highlighted in their individual descriptions—have been featured in distinguished museum collections and notable exhibitions.
We are open daily by appointment and welcome conversations about our collection and collecting guidance.
